On the 20th Anniversary of September 11th, it was essential to update NEVER FORGET, as time had passed, and so did thousands more after that tragic day, as a result of that day. In fact, more had died after, over 3,500 in twenty years, as result of the terrorist attack on that day, than 2,977 who were killed or died saving lives on 9.11.01. In addition to updating NEVER FORGET after twenty years, a local but national memorial involving Americans of all ages, still had not been designed and implmented. One year prior to the 20th Anniversary of September 11th in 2020, as with every US President since that tragic day, their Administration selects 5 of the best concepts and proposals to receive 3 year federal grants to partner with the federal government.
And, for the first time, the Trump Administration selected the first National Multi-Site 9/11 Memorial that was co-led by youth and adults, updated Never Forget, had authentic programmatic memorial elements which united local communities across America, and many other elements and components to be implemented over a 3 year phase in period, given the increase of several thousand, who sadly passed away after that tragic day America was attacked. With more than 100+ submissions to the Federal Government, Global Youth Justice’s concept for a new Annual 9/11 Patriot Day Flag of Honor Across America Memorial, was selected as one of only five new federal projects to launch on the twentieth anniversary, and the first ever federally supported national memorial.

THREE YEAR IMPLEMENTATION PHASE: 1st, 2nd and 3rd Year for Implementing the new Annual 9/11 Patriot Day Flag of Honor Across America Memorials on September 11th in 2021, 2022 and 2023.
Below are 100’s and 100’s of NEWS, MEDIA and TELEVISION COVERAGE LINKS. And, these are all from Global Youth Justice’s 317 Local Memorial Sites involving 537 communities who partnered over the 3 year implementing phases. From the first year, this new memorial quickly became the largest national multi-site memorial on September 11th. This new September 11 Memorial has been selected as an official project for America’s 250th Anniversary on July 4th, 2026 — and will involve two September 11 Memorials in 2025 and 2026, and communities can start applying in late 2024.
This new memorial updated NEVER FORGET after 20 Years, is a design that is National — but 100 percent local and both youth and adult co-led, as the 20 year mark also meant no one under 20 was alive to experience that horrific day, and with this new memorial, we are making sure the youth are educated and engaged.
Global Youth Justice, Inc. compiled 500+ Press and News Articles from 317 Local Annual 9/11 Day Flag of Honor Across America Memorials Across America by Global Youth Justice, Inc. Launched on the 20th Anniversary of September 11, 2021. It immediately became the largest national multi-site memorial. These articles and tv segements, are from the first years, the phases added on September 11th in 2021, 2022, and 2023 by Global Youth Justice, Inc. Implementing this large scale new Youth and Adult Co-Led Memorials, where everyone divides up the victims killed by terrorists and responders who died saving lives, with each in year one, putting on a memorial for 75 victims and responders who lost their lives saving lives, or were killed by Terrorists. This changes in year two and three as noted below.
Thank You everyone for sending these in to Global Youth Justice, Inc. to post on our website. More press and news will be posted in the coming weeks. Global Youth Justice, Inc. also collected more than 2,500+ Local Photos, which we have posted on another page, but at the bottom of this page, we have included a link of the photos in a facebook photo album. The photos proved most helpful to other communities, as it gave local communities ideas in their planning of their local memorial.
Instead of a reading of the 2,977 names of September 11, 2001, Victims killed by Terrorists, and Brave Responders who made the greatest sacrifice, dying to save the lives of others (and many lives were saved because of the Brave Responders), the Annual 9/11 Patriot Day Flag of Honor Across America Memorials Launched on the 20th Anniversary of that Tragic Day, is quite different. and not just because in lieu of a name, a bio, photo, family members, how and when they passed, and more information. It is important to note, a reading of the 2,977 names of the Victimes, Responders and others who died on September 11, 2001, is a special memorial we have participated in, and support, and in fact — this new Annual 9/11 Patriot Day Flag of Honor Across America Memorials was inspired by that memorial.
The Annual 9/11 Patriot Day Flag of Honor Across America Memorials is not only different in program design, but it also updated NEVER FORGET after Twenty Years. What does updating NEVER FORGET mean? In addition to the 2,977 names of September 11, 2001, Victims killed by Terrorists, and Brave Responders, this new Annual 9/11 Patriot Day Flag of Honor Across America Memorials included in year two, the more than 7,500+ sadly who have died after September 11, 2001, as a result of that tragic day — from diseases, suicide, injuries sustained that tragic day, and other causes of death. multiplebio’s are read, and family members names, where they worked, and where they are burried or more likely, their names are engraved on the September 11th memorial, as for most there were sadly no remains left, given the heat reached close to 3,000 degrees.
It was important for the public, and the federal government for press and media to be done, as well as social media, so so instead of Global Youth Justice, Inc. doing press the first three years, we wrote a press kit and social media and worked with local communities and sites, and there are thousands of social media posts. In addition we now have over 2,500+ photos sent in to Global Youth Justice, Inc. We are so proud of everyone, and there is a small slideshow preview below with 100 of the 2,500+ photos.
